Senior Product Development Engineer
Job Description:
The ideal candidate has strong EE background and has the skills and experience on IC product evaluation, characterization. The candidate should be very familiar with typical new IC product introduction process involved in programming bench equipment, data collection, and analysis. Considering the substantial analog content of our IC’s, many measurements pertain to typical analog signals, including filter response, noise, offset, THD, etc. Equipped with these qualifications, the successful candidate can interface with Design, Process, and Test Engineers to debug, evaluate and drive the development of the product, along with electrical and application-level evaluation, characterization, and eventually transfer to production with high final test yield.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years applicable experience.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Experienced with data collection methods and tools in semiconductor manufacturing process
Strong knowledge of analog functions and measurement techniques
Experienced with Labview and Test Stand programming
Familiar with Automatic Test Equipment
Familiar with bench equipment and analog measurement techniques
Strong EE knowledge to comprehend the impact of electrical and mechanical effects on the performance of our ICs and modules
Ability to work independently
Must be a self-starter, comfortable working with small teams as well as large outside service providers/customers
