Job Description:

Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer / Architect :

Requirements:

• Education: BSEE or MSEE + 8 years experience,
• PhD 5+ years experience.
• Firm knowledge of the IC design and verification process from conceptualization to production.
• Exp. w/ structured design (architecture, modeling, specification, implementation, & verification) of complex analog and mixed-signal systems.
• General analog and mixed-signal CMOS IC design
• Experience - op-amps, , regulators, charge pumps, ADCs, PLL blocks, bandgap references, biasing circuits, etc.
• Ability to work as a individual, guide projects, & provide help of more junior colleagues.
• Outstanding written and oral communications.

Knowledge and skills preferred:

• Exp. w/ analog, mixed-signal, & digital design approached from both continuous-time &discrete-time perspectives.
• Sigma-delta familiarity & design exp. is particularly  valued.
• Knowledge w/ Cadence IC design tools

*Verilog or VHDL, and MatLab.

• Exp. designing in several different CMOS process technologies.
