Senior Software Engineer - Device Drivers - (SC)

Company description: Our client is a leader in the development of custom software solutions for the commercial, military and government sectors. They specialize in technologies such as telephony, networking, wireless, multimedia, DSP, security, and graphics. There products are designed on various operating systems such as Windows, Pocket PC and embedded.
Responsibilities: The individual will be responsible for the development of system level software and or device drivers for multiple operating systems (XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, Pocket PC, Embedded).
Experience: This developer should have at least 5 years of experience with Windows device drivers. Desired driver experience should include one or more of the following driver areas: file system, multimedia (audio / graphics), communication, networking, HID, and filter drivers. Hardware design experience is a plus. This individual must be able to communicate effectively with clients and be attentive to customer satisfaction.
Requirements: Must have UScitizenship. Should have C/C++ and Assembly programming experience. Candidate must have strong debugging skills, communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience: Experience with other operating systems (Linux, Nucleus, VxWorks, Green Hills, and Novell). Experience with DSP development, hardware design, firmware, and application development. Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Security Clearance is preferred, but not required.
