Description:
Senior MS Exchange / Active Directory Engineer to lead migration of our clients from their current systems to a new large enterprise systems using exchange 2003 & 2007. In Addition to the software migration, upgrades to new Dell servers and desktop roll outs is also being performed.
Experience:
Microsoft Exchange 5.5 /2000/2003/2007, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003, Microsoft Windows /2000/XP, Quest Software Suite, NetIQ’s . Migration engineering /AD Infrastructure, Migration & Support Specialist with 5 years of working experience. Additional tasks required to support this effort will include the following:
Experience working directly with external customers and vendors.
MS Exchange 2007 experience a plus.
Project Management experience a plus.
Strong Dell Server and Desktop knowledge
Technical Lead
Assist with development project plan
Develop documenting for migration plan
Develop deployment and test plans
Evaluation of customer’s environment prior to migration
Experience planning, executing, and tracking tasks and assignments
Must demonstrate excellent leadership, problem solving and diagnostic skills and be comfortable working as a team leader within a process/project-oriented organization.
Microsoft MCSE, and experience with Microsoft Enterprise Office software, communications software. Requires significant experience in a large scale Windows Enterprise Organization and ability to demonstrate a focus on automation of routine Windows Administration tasks including Patching, Security Auditing, Exchange and SMTP tasks.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory including, setting domain policies, Group Policy, site definition, replication, trusts etc.
Strong DNS Services, DHCP Services, WINS, ISA 2004, IIS Server, Cluster Server.
Familiarity with Veritas NetBackup, Backup Exec, SAN Technology, Blackberry Servers a plus.
Requirements:
MCSE, CCNA is a plus
