Our client is seeking an Medical Application Specialist.  This individual needs to have experience in implementing and supporting clinical applications.  He or she needs to have competency in working on most phases of the implementation lifecycle including design, build, test, train and deploy.   

Required:

• Clinical background, especially in the Emergency Department setting, is a plus.
• A 4 year degree and knowledge of Cerner FirstNet, Cerner Millennium, or other emergency room (EMR) applications is preferred, although 2 yr degree candidates and candidates with equiv work exp, roles and responsibilities will be considered.  This includes working with end-users to define clinical/business requirements, application configuration, testing, training development and support.
• RN with informatics experience Preferred or IT professional with Cerner Millennium applications knowledge.
• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
