Job Description:
Job Description: Our client is seeking a Lead Reporting Services Support Analyst. This is for a 3 month right to hire position. Duties and Responsibilities: - Partner with internal and external customers to provide data solutions to business questions.
- Deliver reporting, ad hoc and strategic deliverables with recommendations and interpretation.
- Ensure adherence to RSS processes and performance metrics.
- Mine data to recommend data quality and process improvements.
- Collaborate with project management team to appropriate estimate, schedule, monitor and resource reporting deliverables within an overall project plan.
- Review reports for trends, outliers, quality, data structure, report validity and data details.
- Facilitate meetings and present reporting and data solutions to internal and external clients.
- Recommend reporting process improvement opportunities.
- Act as subject matter expert on applicable programs they support in data structure, analytics, data mining, reporting and operational process as it translates into meaningful data.
- Mentor, train and support business and users of data.
- Work closely with Operations, Client and IT to address data integrity issues.
- Negotiate and build consensus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - SQL
- SAS
- MS Access (Optional)
- MS Excel
- MS SQL Analyzer (Optional)
- MS Visual Studio and Reporting Services or other reporting BI tools
- Analytical skills to critically evaluate information
- Problem solving ideas to facilitate issue resolution
- Organizational skills to work with a vast array of information and to cope with rapidly changing information
- Writing skills to communicate information effectively to all stakeholders and technical team
- Listening skills - ability to distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true need and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
- Detail-oriented, great attention to details
- Ability to collaborate and interact with associates at all levels and build strong business liaisons
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and orally
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Math or a related field and ten(10) years of experience in research, information analysis or program evaluation; OR,Master’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of experience in research, information analysis or program evaluation; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
