Our client is seeking a Change and Configuration Mgmt Administrator.  This person will need to be able to:

• Customize HP’s Service Manager to conform to the needs of business.
• Define workflows
• Create notifications
• Modify forms and fields
• Define profiles
• Create and modify application views in HP’s Universal Configuration Management Database.
• Tailor discovery patterns for the uCMDB to fit the requirements of the business.
• Compile custom Change Management reports in the both Service Manager and the uCMDB as needed.

Preferred skill:

• Assemble and collect required information for the uCMDB from multiple IT teams as well as other enterprise units.
• Understand the Change and Configuration Management process as defined by the ITIL methodology, and how it relates to other IT disciplines – such as Incident, Problem and Release Management.
• Understand basic networking infrastructure including: switches, routers, servers and communication protocols.
• Identify ways to assist in process improvement.
• Maintain technical relationships with strategic partners and vendors as necessary.
• Experience with HP’s Release Control.
• ITIL Foundations certified.
