The Wound Care Specialist will be responsible for managing and increasing wound care sales within the assigned territory. Reporting to the Region Manager, this role is the primary driver of wound care sales within strategic metropolitan cities. Sales focus and activities targeted to multiple call points in the hospital market. 

Key responsibilities to include: 
' To meet or exceed sales targets which will be driven by key account closes and competitive conversions in the hospital market 
' To possess and effectively communicate/utilize clinical and product knowledge 
' Effective customer needs assessment and solution development 
' Effective relationship management with key stakeholders within targeted accounts 
' The ability to interact with advanced practice clinicians (physicians, NP's, nurses) and shape product choice decisions 
' Effective sales process execution 
' Contract implementation and effective penetration of key GPO awards 
' To maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts 
' Effectively coordinate opportunities internally and externally (customers) 
' Territory and account planning (Pre and post call planning) 
' To complete all administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE: 
Ability to travel, ability to communicate verbally and through electronic media, ability to work within a team, ability to analyze sales reports and data to develop business plans and to create 
effective strategies to increase sales and meet sales forecasts within the territory

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Academic/Credentials/Certifications - 
Bachelor's Degree or greater 
Prior outside medical sales experience, Prior WOUND CARE sales strongly preferred (Minimum of two years outside medical sales experience)
