Sells on-demand customer insights to marketers. Our unique web-based insights show marketers what most motivates their customers to buy products, pay higher prices, stay loyal and refer others. As an early-stage company, we have sold subscriptions to our unique insights to a select set of Fortune 1000 companies, with great results. We are ready to commence our first expanded selling effort, and seek hungry, hands-on, self-motivated individuals. This is an individual contributor, direct selling position.
Duties:
Close sales of the company’s product to marketers
Meet or exceed plan targets
Develop new accounts, through hands-on tactics
Handle all aspects of selling: lead generation, lead qualification, sales communication, meetings, objections-handling and closing
Work closely with our in-house marketing to reduce the sales cycle and increase effectiveness of this sales role
Call on customers that meet the company’s criteria, given limited bandwidth
Follow the company’s sales process
Develop a mastery of the company’s products and ways of communicating
Required experience
Direct selling to marketers in companies, such as brand managers, marketing VPs and marketing directors
3+ years of direct outbound sales experience, including high transactional selling
Clear track record of new account development without lead generation or marketing support
Prior experience selling Fortune 1000 companies
Prior experience in an entrepreneurial company; must be able to adjust to frequent change and work with limited resources
General knowledge and understanding of marketing/brand management environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Successful selling via phone/webinar and in-person
Must be hands-on, hungry and self-motivated
