Applies diversified knowledge of Anatomic Pathology principles, practices, implementation and support. General responsibilities include, working on customer reagent/staining applications, participating in technical/business reviews, involvement in demonstrating, testing and implementing new products. Troubleshoots staining issues to determine root cause and possible solutions. Assist in the development of solutions to meet customer goals. Focused on improving customer satisfaction in all interactions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responds to moderate reagent/staining issues at customer site.
Assists Account Executive in driving sales through technical knowledge.
Interacts and communicates professionally with customer to independently resolve routine and non-routine problems.
Consult with clients and higher-level specialists to resolve technical problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
Completes administrative paperwork associated with job function, including field service reports, expense forms, training documents, etc.
Attends and provides internal training.
Ability to organize and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
Ability to accomplish all tasks assigned by manager with minimal supervision.
Formal Training/Education:
Associates Degree in a Life Science related discipline and 4 years lab experience or 5 years experience in a directly related discipline. QIHC/HT certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possesses and applies moderate troubleshooting skills to include: Identifying the most probable cause of a problem with minimal assistance, making the corrective action, verifying that the corrective action yielded positive results and if necessary escalating any unresolved problems to the appropriate personnel.
Demonstrates potential for technical proficiency. Routinely applies professional expertise in handling customer application issues.
