Full- Time Austin, Texas Linux software development and software program management with customers and partners. This position will involve keeping track of a large number of software deliverables, tool chain maintenance, customer/partner issue tracking and resolution. When issues arise, this person will replicate issues and work with team members to get them resolved. Some customization of uBoot, Linux kernels, and device driver features required. Documenting, packaging, and improving usefulness of SDK for customers and partners. Requirements of the Position: - BSCE, MSCS or equivalent.
- 10-15 years related experience.
- Linux development environment setup and maintenance on x86 PC hosts.
- Significant Embedded Linux development experience on 32-bit RISC processors like SuperH or ARM.
- Configuration control, build management, and revision control.
- Bug reproduction and tracking.
- Ability to develop Linux-based device drivers, test routines, and uBoot.
- Very good English language skills – written and oral.
- Customer-friendly attitude.
- Experience developing software for embedded system products, preferably using Linux.
- Capable of coordinating and managing a large-scale software project.
