Abilicorp is currently seeking candidates for the position of Technical Service Specialist 1 for a major financial services company which provides banking, insurance, investments, and mortgage and consumer finance services. This position is based in Des Moines, IA.

  • Job Title: Technical Service Specialist 1
  • Location: Des Moines, IA
  • Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to telephone inquiries concerning support, processing or requesting procedures, systems status and network connectivity
  • Document and in some cases resolve basic problems regarding business applications and hardware and software
  • Record inquiries, repair and service requests, resolve or direct requests to appropriate technical area or vendor
  • Track status and follow up to ensure client satisfaction
  • Escalate issues to senior staff when solution is unclear
  • Report problems with procedures

 

Requirements:

  • 2 year degree or High School diploma and 1-2 years experience
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and ask questions when process can't be followed.
  • Must possess a sense of urgency, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office.
