Our client in N. County, San Diego is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to add to their growing team. This is a direct hire position (contract to hire will also be considered) with great benefits and growth opportunies for a well established company. Requirements: -
7-10 years of experience and solid knowledge of Data Communications (Internet Technologies, Fire Walls, Security (VPN), Routers, WAN, and LAN) -
Must be experienced and knowledgeable of all principles of Network technology, including but not limited to Network strategies, design, VPN solutions, POP design, POP security, Strong Authentication, PKI, Checkpoint, and Cisco VPN Hardware. Expert Knowledge of Sniffers IDS, firewall,SIM and vulnerability scan solutions preferred. -
Have a good understanding of Client /Server and Web Application components -
Candidate should have excellent team work, written verbal communication, and project management -
Recent relevant experience in installation, configuration and administration of network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and other LAN/WAN devices. -
Extensive experience in supporting large-scale LAN/WAN corporate, DEV, QA and production datacenter environments -
Four (4) plus years of experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft Server and Client Operating Systems including Server 2003, 2008, XP, Vista, Windows 7 -
Telecom experience a plus -
CCNP, other industry certifications such as MCSE strongly desired. |
