We have a need for a junior-mid level Configuration Management Analyst for our project in Alexandria . The person needs to have at least 2-3 years experience on software CM projects. A CM Analyst is needed to assist the configuration management team with a variety of CM responsibilities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities: The individual will be performing the following tasks:Assist in the management and coordination of all CM related activities. Provide day-to-day support of Government related requirements. Build and Migrate Software between environments. Identification of configuration items for production environment. Identify and document IT Infrastructure, systems, and support elements. Maintain suitable test environment to production specification. Develop and maintain Version Description Documents. Support of operations changes and relationships between applications and system changes. Identify and implement CM processes and procedures. Perform assessment, preparation, and implementation of environments and change control activities. Work closely with technical staff to resolve problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: The following educational requirements and technical proficiencies apply:2-5 years experience in configuration management for software development projects. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. Knowledge of Oracle and UNIX preferred. Experience with PVCS tools such as TeamTrack and Version Manager. Knowledge and understanding of supply change management, software version control and build management.
