PeopleSoft Admin DBA – HCM / FMS / CRM

Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, configure, and ensure the Integrity of PeopleSoft applications (HCM, FMS, CRM, EPM).
2. Plan and schedule to accomplish minor and major software upgrades.
3. Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of systems.
4. Identify and implement/participate in the implementation of hardware, operating system and software enhancements for improving the reliability, performance and availability of the systems.
5. Proactively monitor and manage batch jobs.
6. Implement application architecture solutions, considering cost, reliability, performance and long-term strategy.
7. Manage systems for high availability, and satisfactory response time.
8. Plan and manage the installation of application patches, tax updates and releases on development, test, quality assurance and production systems.
9. Proactively determine future growth of the application in the areas of database size, number of end-users and application functionality. Translate these growth parameters into future capacity requirements and architect appropriate hardware, operating system and software solutions.
10. Configure monitoring tools to evaluate the performance of systems.
11. Be available on an on-call basis for recovery problems and system and application problems.
12. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning; including assisting with fault tolerance and contributing to the design of disaster recovery plans.
13. Provide technical administration and migration support for various PeopleSoft environments.
14. Enforce application change control and migration strategy policies are followed.
15. Management of application servers, proxy servers, middleware and web servers for PeopleSoft environments.
Required Skills:
1. Minimum of two years experience as a PeopleSoft System Administrator
2. Minimum of two years experience as an Oracle DBA
3. Ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components including App Servers, Process Schedulers, and Weblogic Servers
4. Ability to install patches, bundles, and service packs
5. Any Infrastructure Architect experience highly desired.
