For the past 2 years we have been working with a company that is on a fast track growth curve. This company is a Manufacturing entity that supplies the Personal Care, Nutraceutical and the OTC Pharmaceutical market with custom blended products. They are a turn key supplier of these Consumer driven products and provide customers with assistance on product development, formulation, packaging and complete production.
Over the last three years they have grown dramatically because of their expertise, technical, knowledge, manufacturing capabilities, brilliant senior management direction and customer service. They are a very fast paced "Type A" aggressive company that seeks employees with innovative minds, ideas and aggressive attitudes. They change direction quickly to grab market share without compromising processes or excellence in service and manufacturing.
We are conducting a search for a Senior Manager to run Purchasing, Planning and the overall Supply Chain for the company. In this position the successful candidate will be managing and mentoring a team. The manager will be expected to develop these employees for future opportunities in advancement with the company.
Here are the requirements:
- College Degree- In Logistics - Supply Chain or Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Mgmt. - MBA proffered
- 8 years minimum Management experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, Purchasing and material MRP planning as a Dept Manager.
- Strong Management experience and at least 8 years managing and mentoring a staff of at least 5-people. Strong skills that can be demonstrated in people development, career path planning and demonstrated leadership skills in getting employees promoted.
- EXPERIENCE IN A LIQUID BLENDING, FORMULATION, BEVERAGE BLENDING OR CHEMICAL BLENDING ENVIRONMENT IS ABSOLUTLY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
