We have been developing software for recruiters since 1994 and launched the first commercial version of MaxHire in 2001.

We currently have over 600 customers worldwide and about 5000 active users. We have grown by over 100% each year since launching our commercial product while maintaining high service levels for existing customers.
Q: Is MaxHire a financially stable company?
Yes, MaxHire has been developing software for recruiters for 13 years and has always been financially stable and healthy. We have no debt and are not funded by any outside capital. MaxHire is 100% owner-operated. Our financially conservative management has allowed us to weather 2 recessions without downsizing or decreasing our levels of service.

Q: Can you demo the software for me and show me the features?
Yes, you will have unlimited access to the recorded sales demos on our website, access to our software so you can do hands-on testing and live, screen-sharing demos with your Sales Representative.
Q: Can I get a free trial?
Yes. We are big advocates of hands-on testing and believe it is essential that you do this to ensure that the software that you select is a good fit for you.
Q: Can you provide me with references?
Yes, we will happy to provide you with a reference that matches the profile of your organization as closely as possible.
Q: What happens after I sign up?
An Account Manager from our Client Services department will be assigned to work with you to help you with your implementation, training and data conversion. Your MaxHire Account Manager will stay with you and be available to answer your questions for as long as you remain a customer.

Technology

Q: Is MaxHire web-based or client-server?
MaxHire is a hosted, web-based solution that functions over any internet connection so that you can access your MaxHire data from any location. It uses an installed program built on revolutionary new Microsoft® .NET technology called a "Smart Client." It has some of the best characteristics of both the traditional web browser-based applications and traditional client-server applications. MaxHire offers a significantly faster and more feature-rich experience than any browser-based solution.
Q: What are the system requirements for using MaxHire?
You must have a computer running Windows Vista, XP, 2000, or NT to install and use MaxHire in addition to a standard, high speed internet connection. Since we host your data, you do not need any servers or any backup devices.
Q: Is MaxHire compatible with Vista and Office 2007?
Yes, MaxHire is fully compatible with Windows Vista and Office 2007.
Q: How do I get upgrades?
When we release an update to our software, MaxHire automatically updates itself to ensure you always have the most current version. All upgrades are free as part of your monthly, subscription pricing.

Data Hosting and Security

Q: How do I know if my data is secure?
Your data is hosted in an enterprise class, secure, mission-critical data center which is monitored 24x7x365. We follow the highest industry-standards for real-time redundancy such as RAID and load balancing. We also rigorously maintain offsite backups to prevent data loss in the event of a natural disaster.
Q: Do I own my data?
Yes, absolutely. We do not consider your data to be our property or in any way proprietary to our software. Our contracts are explicit that your data is your proprietary and confidential property.
Q: How do I get a Backup?
In the MaxHire application there is a DATA BACKUP option under the Administrator menu. The data and all of your documents are then automatically compressed into a password-protected ZIP archive which you can download onto your computer.

Training and Data Conversion

Q: What kind of training do you offer?
We have extensive user documentation and a proven, effective training process. Your training will consist of a combination of self-paced, interactive training consisting of videos and practice exercises together with live webinars with your Account Manager.

We have successfully converted data from over 50 competitive recruiting software solutions over the years. MaxHire offers the highest quality data conversions in our industry and our clients have been extremely happy with the results.

Technical Support

Q: What kind of training to you offer?
We have extensive user documentation and a proven, effective training process. Your training will consist of a combination of self-paced, interactive training consisting of videos and practice exercises together with live webinars with your Account Manager.
Q: Is there a limit to amount of support you offer?
No, technical support is unlimited and free. Any registered user may request support at any time. We provide direct support to each user.
Q: How do I get Technical Support?
You may contact our Technical Support team using our online ticketing system, by phone, or by email to initiate a support ticket. Our standard hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST Monday to Friday. Our support team is also on call 24x7x365 and will respond to support tickets after hours when needed.

Pricing and Terms

Q: How do I know my exact costs for MaxHire?
Our pricing page lists our all monthly costs and setup fees. Your sales rep will work with you to identify any other startup costs such as data conversion. You will then receive a detailed sales quotation showing your exact startup and monthly costs based on the number of users you have so there are no surprises.
Q: Will my pricing ever go up?
The pricing in your service agreement is guaranteed to not increase as long as you remain a customer. You never have to renegotiate pricing.
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
Our published pricing is fixed and is guaranteed to never increase for as long as you are a customer. You don't have to play "let's make a deal" to get competitive pricing with us.
Q: How long do I have to sign up for?
We have no minimum commitments. (You are not required to sign a 1 year contract.) You can cancel at any time.
Q: How do I cancel my account?
You may cancel your account at any time. All you need to do is return the signed cancellation form.
