MaxHire uses web services to pass data back and forth between your computer and your database. If MaxHire times out when attempting to download the program update and your Internet connection appears to be stable, the web services files on your computer may be missing or corrupt .
Applying the Microsoft patches listed below can restore or replace missing or corrupt web services files and improve database connectivity.

Note
You must have access privileges to install software on your computer. If your network administrator normally installs software for you, forward these instructions to them.
To update your Windows Web Services components:
Exit MaxHire.
Uninstall MaxHire via Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
Download the full .msi
versions of the following files to your desktop:
MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (click
the msxml.msi file at the bottom of the page)
After the downloads are complete, double-click each file to install the updated Microsoft components.
If you receive a message that one of the above patches is already installed, choose the Repair option in the installation wizard.
Restart your computer.
