Problem: You may receive a message in Outlook with the following subject line: MH Server Agent: Manual Applicant Processing Required
These emails are sent by the MaxHire server when an email application is received by your database (MH###@apply.maxhire.net) but it cannot be processed. Rather than ignore these emails, MaxHire forwards the email to you so that you can manually create the candidate record or follow up with the sender to obtain a valid copy of their resume.
The most common processing errors are:
No
resumes found in this email to create a new candidate.
This means that the email application did not include a resume, or
it was formatted in a way that the server agent could not process.
Unable
to import document filename.xyz. Invalid file type.
This message means that there was a file of an unsupported type attached
to the email. An example of such a file would be a resume in WordPerfect
format (*.wps) which the Server Agent does not support; or a non-text
file attachment such as an image which cannot be processed.
