Problem: When sending an email, I receive the following message: "There was an unknown error sending your message. Please try again or contact support."
If you receive the error message "There was an unknown error sending your message. Please try again or contact support" when you try to send an attachment, follow the steps below to resolve the problem and send the email.
Right-click the attachment at the bottom of the email and uncheck both the Use Letterhead and Lock for Editing options.
Click Send to send your email.
If you have the Use Letterhead or Lock for Editing options selected, MaxHire attempts to modify the document before it is sent. If the file is protected and cannot be modified, you will receive this error message.
